The music video follows Mandell and her daughter, Della, as they wander the streets of Los Angeles armed with fliers, searching for the real-life old man and his dog that inspired the song. The playful premise captures the spirit of the track itself — a tender, humorous ode to two neighborhood fixtures. Sharp-eyed fans will also catch a notable easter egg: the outfit Mandell wears in the video is the same one featured on the cover of her beloved album "Thrill."

Lyrically, "Old Man, Old Dog" showcases Mandell's signature blend of sharp observation and gentle humor and harkens back to her early Tom Waits influence.
